Truck Mounted Crane
A self-propelled loading-unloading machine mounted on a 3 axle all steer low loader trailer, with a working section consisting of a rotating cantilevered boom. It is used for the loading and unloading primarily of a heavy and single-item nature, and also for construction and repair work. The drive of the crane is hydraulic with power takeoff from the donkey engine.
The boom extends from 2 to 14 meters; with a remote control auxiliary device for ease of use and visibility around the load and operation. The Truck-mounted crane is supported by supplementary supports (outriggers) while lifting cargo, in order to increase their stability. Used as a power lifter for specific jobs, to lift, carry and offload without any other aid. An example below of how to use the Hiab, even when required to offload from another trailer.
Mega-Lift or Hydraulic Gantries Lifting Systems:
A gantry is a combination of two or more legs (towers) and an overhead beam or girder construction. In case of hydraulic gantries, their legs are hydraulic, which enables them to perform lifts by extraction of their legs. these systems are ideally designed for performing operations over foundations and in tight situations where the load can be anything up to 500 ton. If movement of the load is required the complete gantry is placed on purpose built tracks that are hydraulically powered by the control unit, versatile equipment when required to ‘think out of the box’
Opposite is an example of how a lift system can be used removing a machine in a low level pit, with no other means of access or reach.
The Versa-Lift is a unique forklift in which the frame extends in order to achieve greater capacities and is equipped with a removable hydraulic boom. The Versa-Lift was designed specifically for moving heavy machinery smoothly and safely on solid surfaces for riggers.
