Generally to install a machine or plant (regarding the wording ‘Installation’s’) is that we don’t control the full turnkey operation, we speak to the client to understand a machine or plant arriving (usually from abroad by deep sea, rail, air or road to accept the consignment) we talk to the client and advise them or on what scenario they wish us to take control.
Over numerous projects, we have advised our clients to have their consignment delivered direct to our warehouse, this eliminates any issues with delayed deliveries and subsequent costs.
We normally accept a signed delivery on our customers approval, take photograph evidence to ensure the consignment is in an acceptable condition, offload, then store the consignment in our warehouse. The customer can then attend site to view and if required, attend before we unpack.
Although a pre-arranged delivery to the client’s site is confirmed, we shall redress the situation to ensure the Client is happy with the date and consignment.
